Attacked from multiple directions and unable to effectively manoeuvre within the confined landscape, the imperial forces quickly lost their advantage.

The Mughal army collapsed, and numerous military posts and cantonments fell soon after. Maharana Pratap successfully reclaimed large portions of Mewar's heartland, forcing the Mughal administration into retreat across much of the kingdom.

Although Chittor remained under Mughal control, the Battle of Dewair marked the resurgence of Mewar and stands as one of Maharana Pratap's greatest military achievements.
